Basic Insurance vs. Supplementary Insurance

The mandatory Swiss health insurance (LAMal/KVG) does not cover Tariff 595 services. Only voluntary supplementary insurance (LCA/VVG) can reimburse health promotion services.

Conditions for Reimbursement

1. The client has an active supplementary module for health promotion
2. The type of service is covered by the client's policy
3. The provider is certified by an approved body (Qualitop/Qualicert)
4. The provider's certification is recognised by the client's insurer
5. The client's annual benefit cap has not been reached
